LT 285/70R18 WIDE CLIMBER ALL WEATHER ALL TERRAIN

The New Generation Wide Climber AWT AT is On- /Off-Road All-Terrain All Weather studdable tire designed for the drivers of pickup trucks and full-size SUVs looking for a tire with off-road capabilities that retains its on-road comfort and stability. By blending traditional all-terrain design elements with highway-centric features, the Wide Climber AWT aims to provide traction in a variety of difficult road conditions, including light snow traction that meets the tire industry's severe snow service rating requirements and earns the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol. Utilizing a computer-aided design, the Wide Climber AWT's  tread pattern is built to provide a rugged, off-road look that retains respectable road manners. The multi-pitched pattern employs aggressive biting edges in the shoulder elements along with a higher void ratio for good loose-surface grip. Full depth siping and large zig zag circumferential grooves help increase wet weather traction and hydroplaning resistance for enhanced confidence in wet and wintry weather.

Worried about ‘cheap Chinese tires’?

I bought these in the fall and I couldn’t be happier. I hear a lot about people staying away from these ‘Chinese Tires’ but as soon as I got them fitted (not at Kors) I felt I had made a good choice.
These tires are about 50% of the price of the branded equivalents in this size -35”s.
I am writing this after the Okanagan’s cold snap (-20s) and deep snow dumps (30cm this week). These tires make my Jeep feel like it should - confident, reliable, predictable in the conditions. I’m so impressed. And before the bad weather came I was already impressed with the smooth, quiet ride on the pavement.
A really good all-round tire for Jeep drivers who spend a lot of their time commuting but also need to get up in those hills.
